HOW TO REACH SICILY
From Ljubljana
Drive from Ljubljana to Trieste Airport, and from there take a direct flight to Catania Fontanarossa Airport, which is the closest airport to Riposto. This is a convenient option to reach Sicily quickly.
From Basel
From Basel, you can fly directly to Catania Fontanarossa Airport. There are also options to take a train through Italy, which will take about 20 hours. Driving is another option, and it will take around 17 hours via the A2 and A1 motorways.
By Car
Riposto is accessible by car via the A18 motorway. Take the exit for Giarre, and from there it's a short drive to Riposto. You will find signs for La Canonica Degli Archi as you approach the town.
By Train
You can reach Riposto by taking a train to Catania, and then transferring to a local train towards Giarre-Riposto. The train station is a short taxi ride away from La Canonica Degli Archi.
